Cynthia Petro has fallen under the spell of San Miguel de Allende, in her own words:  “The climate, the quaintness of the cobblestone streets, the colonial architecture, the artistic environment, the diversity of the people, the many unique restaurants but most notably the sense of home I feel in my adopted country and the deep connection I feel with everyone I come across here. I wouldn't chose to live anywhere else!”

Reading this you can imagine how committed Cynthia is to finding the ideal home for her clients through Agave Sotheby’s International Realty.  You can feel the passion and how seriously she takes her job, knowing the inventory and market and living and breathing it 24/7: “Listening to my clients needs is important too then doing the work to follow through and make it happen is key. I go the extra mile whether it's using my creative talents to stage a home so it shows it's best or giving my clients remodel or decorating ideas for a prospective home they are considering.  I instantly feel connected to my clients as they do to me; there is a trust there that is not taken for granted”.

With a background in fine art and interior design and years in the luxury retail market, real estate has been a natural fit for Cynthia - her love of all things real estate: houses, architecture, interior design & gardening ties in perfectly with her ability as a problem-solver. Her clients past and present can tell you about her resourcefulness and dedication as part of the highly respected and professional team at Agave Sotheby's International Realty.

But beyond her activity as a Realtor, Cynthia has found a calling with animal rescue. “I appreciate all the animal rescue groups & their efforts in reducing animal suffering that we find all around us. I have a dear friend, Marge Fahey, who helps rescue and find homes for abused or injured animals. She relentlessly cares for and feeds 25 stray and abandoned cats two times a day despite the hardship this puts on her limited income”Wolfie, a terrier mix street dog, is a rescue that she found hit by a car and now accompanies Marge to the wall where she feeds & brings fresh water to the cats. Cynthia just recently encouraged her to start a non-profit called "Cats of Atascadero" so others can contribute food and donations for the care of these animals. Diego is my newest dog rescue from Atotonilco and needs a forever home!

If you want to find Cynthia, is best to call the Agave Sotheby’s office and make an appointment - as most of the time she is out in the field, helping clients find their dream and forever home.
